Privacy Policy
Effective 1 November 2026
Workflow automation is a personal tool operated by madesh6554. It is used only on the operator's own accounts. This policy explains what data it accesses and how that data is handled.
Data the tool accesses
With the account owner's permission, given through Google's sign-in screen, the tool accesses the following for videos on the authorized YouTube channel:
- Video details: title, description, tags, category and language settings.
- Video statistics: view, like and comment counts.
- The name and ID of the authorized channel, to confirm it owns the video.
How the data is used
The data is used only to build an updated title that shows the latest statistics and to set that title on the authorized channel's own videos. The other video details are read so they can be kept unchanged when the title is updated.
The data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising or profiling, and not used to train AI or machine-learning models.
Storage and security
- Google sign-in tokens are stored privately on the operator's computer and as encrypted secrets in a private GitHub repository. They are never published.
- A log of title changes (date, view/like/comment counts and the new title) is kept in that private repository.
- No other personal data is collected. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.
Revoking access and deletion
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is revoked the tool can no longer read or change any video. Stored tokens are deleted when the tool is retired.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Workflow automation's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
